Area Sales Manager – Ireland

SLR Marine Recruitment is proud to be working with a new client based in Ireland.
 
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager – ideally within the Marine sector to support the growth of their Marine division across Ireland.
This role is ideal for someone with a marine background who wants to make a real impact.
Specialising in the manufacturing and supply of Mussel Floats and various Buoys for Navigation, Mooring, Data collection and lanterns. 
 
A family-run business with over 600 employees across Ireland and the UK, they pride themselves with a strong team culture, this is a role that you can grow with.
 
The Role
This role will be 40% account management and 60% business development, you’ll manage and grow customer relationships nationwide, drive Marine sales, increase brand awareness, and identify new opportunities. The role is office based with regular travel.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Grow sales and manage customer relationships across Ireland
• Identify new business opportunities and meet sales targets
• Keep CRM updated and share key market insights
• Handle enquiries, orders, and prepare for meetings
• Support marketing activities and attend trade events/site visits

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years B2B field sales experience with proven results
• Marine industry background preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented, organised, and confident using IT/CRM systems
• Based in Ireland with a full clean driving licence
