Hours: 40 per week

We’re looking for a skilled Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to join our team in Woking. You’ll be working on domestic maintenance, void property repairs, and heating maintenance – both during working hours and as part of an on-call rota.
This role is ideal for someone with solid carpentry experience (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) and at least 3 years in residential repairs, plus additional skills in other trades. You’ll need to be confident with tasks like door hanging, kitchen fitting (including mitred worktops), and general property maintenance. Fire door experience is a bonus.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and fixing repairs across multiple trades
- Delivering high-quality work with a “right-first-time” approach
- Communicating clearly with tenants
- Working safely and keeping accurate records
- Being part of an on-call rota and supporting other teams when needed
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- Someone who’s professional, reliable, and customer-focused
- Comfortable using a PDA/phone to manage jobs
- A full driving licence and willingness to complete a DBS check
