About the Role In this role, you’ll oversee and lead manufacturing operations within a defined production area, ensuring the delivery of top-quality products while driving continuous improvement. You’ll inspire a culture of collaboration and innovation, leveraging cutting-edge tools and processes to meet key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of High-Performance Work Teams (HPWTs) to drive employee engagement and operational success.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve processes.
  • Deliver on key metrics, including safety, productivity, on-time delivery, and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership in implementing safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members, empowering them to achieve their potential.
  • Lead maintenance and facilities resources to ensure effective asset management.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, enabling employee success and empowering decision-making across the organisation.

What You’ll Need

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years in manufacturing/operations.
    • 1–3 years in a leadership role, managing teams.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching abilities.
    • Knowledge of Lean principles (6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work).
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Problem-solving skills (e.g., 8D, A3).
    • Ability to balance multiple priorities and drive change.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 AM – 4:45 PM
  • Friday: 08:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • 37 hours per week
