Marine Welder – Southampton

SLR Recruitment are looking for a Welder –  MIG, TIG, MMA, Stick & Steel

Location: Southampton
Pay: £22–£24ph (Temp) | £18.60ph + OT (Perm)
Type: Temp-to-Perm or Direct Perm

SLR are looking for experienced welders across MIG, TIG, MMA, Stick, and steel work. This role offers long-term potential with temp-to-perm or direct hire options.

What you’ll need:

• Proven welding experience across multiple methods
• Full UK driving license (essential)
• Ability to work independently and travel between sites

Details:

• Temp rate: £22–£24ph (3-month contract)
• Perm rate: £18.60ph + OT (T/half: £27.90, DT: £37.20)
• Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm (37.5 hrs/week)
• Regular overtime (50–60 hrs/month)
• 25 days holiday, training, and potential for company van
• Optional call-out rota for extra pay
