Plumbing Assistant

Location: Windsor Castle

Hours: 42.5 per week (some weekend and on-call work)

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a motivated Plumbing Assistant to join our team. You’ll support our experienced plumber with a wide range of maintenance and repair work across a unique and prestigious site. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with basic plumbing skills and 2+ years’ experience, looking to build their career in a truly special setting.
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with plumbing installs, inspections, fault-finding, and repairs
• Supporting general maintenance across a range of historic buildings
• Working safely, efficiently, and always keeping the customer in mind
• Keeping records of work using a PDA and staying on top of health & safety
• Being part of a small, supportive team – ready to jump in wherever needed

What you’ll need:

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Full UK driving licence
• Great communication and customer service skills
• A practical, problem-solving mindset
• SC clearance (or ability to obtain)

PASMA and experience working on listed buildings or occupied properties is a plus – but not essential.
