Welder/Fabricator

SLR Recruitment are looking for a local Welder/Fabricator for a permanent position within a Southampton Fabrication & Coatings client to start ASAP subject to a Weld Test & Interview! 
 
The client is a well established workshop based in central Southampton. 
They weld & fabricate in the workshop but also have an Inspection department & Coatings department. Although most of their work is work shop based, they work on projects all over the UK regularly covering various industries from Marine to Petrochemical to MOD, Energy, Highways and many more. 
 
They are looking to take on a Welder/Fabricator on a permanent basis who is competent in multiple aspects of welding including MIG, STICK, MAG, MMA & Flux Core with the odd bit of TIG work on occasion. 
 
They are multi-positional so experience working all positions is essential. 
 
Ideally able to drive with own vehicle. 
 
Position would be subject to an on site Weld Test & Interview. 
 
Annual Salary based on the standard 45 hour week would be £39,780. 
Once 45 weekly hours are worked Monday- Friday, overtime rates are applicable and could boost earnings by an additional £21,060. 
Saturdays: £4 per hour uplift
Sundays: £8 per hour uplift
 
If positioned away on a project, the client will organise digs & subsidiaries and the client will guarantee 12 hours of work a day.
