About the role

Our company provides high-quality construction, refurbishment, building maintenance and facilities management services across the South of England. Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical testing, inspections and fault finding
• Complete reactive repairs and domestic rewiring
• Install electrics in kitchens, bathrooms and domestic heating systems
• Diagnose and fix electrical faults
• Respond quickly to emergency call-outs
• Complete work efficiently and report issues to supervisors
• Follow Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and PPE
• Keep accurate records and photographic evidence of work
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

Skills

• Clear and confident communication, including using a phone for updates
• Professional when dealing with tenants, even in challenging situations
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• CSCS card is an advantage

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 2382 (17th Edition)
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent (essential)
• 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• DBS check required before starting

Experience

• 2-5 years’ experience in a Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment
