Salary: £42,000 – £43,250

SLR are looking to recruit for a local company who are a leading provider of construction, refurbishment, and maintenance services across the South of England. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Supervisor to join this company’s team in Fareham.
In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day reactive repairs and void property works, supervise operatives, ensure safety and quality standards, and help deliver planned maintenance projects. You’ll also support other contracts when needed, so flexibility is key.

In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day reactive repairs and void property works, supervise operatives, ensure safety and quality standards, and help deliver planned maintenance projects. You’ll also support other contracts when needed, so flexibility is key.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing operatives’ work and vehicle use
- Scoping and pricing planned jobs (Voids, Kitchens, Bathrooms)
- Handling technical queries and escalations
- Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring H&S compliance
- Supporting recruitment, inductions, and staff development
- Conducting investigations and performance reviews
- Participating in our out-of-hours escalation service
- 5+ years’ experience in building maintenance across multiple trades
- NVQ or equivalent trade qualification (required)
- Previous experience supervising in FM or maintenance
- Full driving licence and flexibility to support other contracts
- SSSTS and Scaffold Inspector training (desirable)
- DBS check required
