Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair carpentry and general maintenance issues
- Carry out a range of carpentry tasks including door hanging, frames and fittings
- Support other trades to deliver a safe and high-quality maintenance service
- Respond quickly to emergency repairs when required
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including PPE and risk assessments
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry
- At least 5 years’ trade experience, ideally in residential repairs
- Experience with kitchen installations (1st & 2nd fix) and mitred worktops
- Ability to complete additional multi-trade tasks
- Good knowledge of residential building regulations
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with tenants
- Experience installing fire doors
- Laminate flooring installation
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to demonstrate competence in two additional trade skills
- DBS check required before starting
