Traffic Marshall

We’re looking for reliable and safety-conscious Traffic Marshals to support vehicle and pedestrian movements within a busy operational port environment.
This is a 6-month temporary role with the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Directing HGVs and site vehicles safely around site
• Marshalling during loading and unloading operations
• Enforcing traffic management and site safety rules
• Keeping emergency routes clear and reducing congestion
• Reporting hazards, unsafe behaviour, and near misses
• Communicating via radios and hand signals
• Supporting general site safety and housekeeping

What we’re looking for:

–  Full UK driving licence
–  Ability to pass a DBS check
–  Experience in a similar operational environment
–  Confident using radios and hand signals
–  Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable:

– Traffic Marshal/Banksman ticket
– Counterbalance Forklift licence
– Maritime or port experience
