Supervisor – Horsham
 
Salary: £43,500 – £44,500
 
We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our team delivering reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) services across a range of Horsham District Council properties, including housing, offices, libraries, museums, parks and commercial buildings.
 
What You’ll Do

• Supervise and support maintenance operatives and subcontractors on site.
• Manage the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance works.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building users and internal teams.
• Carry out quality inspections, health & safety checks and site audits.
• Assist with job scoping, pricing and project delivery.
• Support staff training, inductions and ongoing development.
• Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ experience in a property maintenance or Hard FM environment.
• Previous supervisory experience within maintenance services.
• Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• SSSTS Health & Safety.
• PASMA and Scaffold Inspection certification (or willingness to obtain).
• CSCS card or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SFG20 standards and statutory PPM tasks.
