Executive Assistant
Southampton | Full-time, On-site | Competitive Salary

Right at the centre of the action. Trusted with everything that matters.

We’re the UK arm of a global shipbuilding group known for high-performance vessels built for defence, government, and commercial clients around the world. Backed by serious international scale and a growing order book, we’re building our UK presence from the ground up, moving fast, and punching well above our size.

That means real autonomy. Real ownership. And a genuine seat at the table as we scale.

As a start-up business inside a much bigger group, we need people who are versatile, adaptable, and comfortable wearing more than one hat. Roles here evolve fast — and if you’re the kind of person who leans into change rather than waits for it to settle, this is your chance to be right at the heart of how we operate, working directly with the CEO and Board.

The Role

You’ll be Executive Assistant to the Board, working closely with the CEO to keep the business running smoothly at the top. You’ll manage the CEO’s diary, run the company’s diary, support Board members in the execution of their duties, and act as the first point of contact and “front of house” for the business.

This isn’t a background admin role — you’ll be trusted with sensitive information, exposed to high-level decision-making, and given real scope to make the role your own as the business grows.

What you’ll be doing

Managing the CEO’s diary and the wider company diary
Supporting Board members in the direction of their duties, as directed by the CEO
Organising and filing business documents, both paper and electronic
Acting as front of house — welcoming visitors and always representing the business professionally
Supporting the wider business in any other reasonable way as directed by the CEO

What we’re looking for

Bright, confident, and diligent, with the organisational skills to keep a busy Board running smoothly
Comfortable adapting to the pace and unpredictability of a start-up environment
A genuine team player who’s happy to muck in wherever the business needs it
Smart and presentable, confident acting as the face of the business to visitors and guests
MS Office literate, with remote working / video conferencing experience
Fluent English essential; French desirable
Educated to A level (or international equivalent)
Willing to travel internationally on occasion

Why join us

Backing without the bureaucracy, parent company strength, start-up speed
A role that will grow as the business scales, so will your responsibilities
A real team ethos, we look after our people and expect the same in return

The Package

Competitive salary, dependent on experience
Company laptop and phone
Based at our Southampton HQ, with occasional international travel
Pension
Company Bonus
