Job Title: PA to Director
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Permanent

The Director you’ll support works at a fast pace, juggles multiple priorities, and needs someone who can keep things organised, stay one step ahead, and ensure important tasks don’t slip. This role is ideal for someone proactive, loyal, organised, and confident enough to step in, prioritise, and keep everything moving.
 
The Role
A hands-on, varied position acting as the Director’s right-hand support while also assisting the wider leadership team. You’ll manage day-to-day admin, keep the office running smoothly, and ensure key deadlines and commitments are consistently met.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Full diary management, scheduling, and personal admin
  • Vehicle management (tax, insurance, MOTs, checks)
  • Coordinating birthdays, milestones, 121s, and reviews
  • Collating monthly sales, operations, and headcount updates
  • Maintaining an organised and efficient office environment
  • Managing ISO, H&S, insurance documents, and compliance records
  • Supporting audits, accreditations, and policy updates
  • Preparing a monthly one-page summary of KPIs, key commitments, reminders, and outstanding actions

What We’re Looking For

  • A self-starter who spots what needs doing without being prompted
  • Highly organised, emotionally intelligent, and a strong communicator
  • A confident decision maker who can handle a fast-paced environment
  • Tech savvy (Google Workspace, Apple Calendar, Notion/Things, etc.)
  • Experience supporting a busy or neurodiverse executive is a bonus
  • A good sense of humour
