Our company provides repairs and maintenance for clients including the Isle of Wight Council, Vectis Housing Association, Wetherspoons, RNLI, and more.
 
We’re looking for a skilled, flexible, and enthusiastic Plumber to join our team.
 
About the Role
 
You’ll work on a mix of domestic and commercial properties, handling day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance. Typical tasks include bathroom refurbishments, pipework upgrades, disabled adaptations, wall tiling, and some carpentry like bath frames and panels. We’re after someone professional, polite, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix plumbing issues efficiently and safely
• Maintain high-quality workmanship on every job
• Support other trades as needed
• Respond quickly to emergencies
• Keep customers and office updated on progress
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Record work accurately using PDA and photos
• Work flexibly, including out-of-hours callouts

• Problem-solving skills with good judgement

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2-3 in Plumbing or equivalent
• Full driving licence
• Enhanced DBS check

Experience

• 3+ years in building, maintenance, or educational environments preferred

Hours & Salary: Full-time, £35,092 per year
