SLR Local Recruitment are proud to be working with a large local employer who care about their employees and are looking for a skilled, reliable Plumber to join our team working across the University of Southampton’s halls and estates. This is a varied role covering reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and project work in both student accommodation and commercial buildings.
 
What You’ll Do:

• Carry out plumbing repairs, servicing, and installations (including unvented systems)
• Work safely and efficiently across domestic and commercial sites
• Keep accurate records using a PDA
• Communicate clearly with the team and university staff
• Take part in the out-of-hours rota

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• 2–5 years’ experience in building maintenance
• Solid knowledge of plumbing systems and building materials
• A problem-solver with a professional and team-focused attitude
• Must pass an Enhanced DBS check
