This is a mobile role, primarily covering contracts in Southampton, Fareham, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight, with occasional travel to Wider Hampshire, Horsham, Woking, and Windsor as required.

About the Role
You will carry out a variety of domestic and commercial plumbing repairs across sectors including:
- Local authority housing (reactive and void works)
- Educational facilities and student accommodation
- Commercial buildings, offices, and lecture theatres
- Heritage and historic sites
- Installation of sanitary ware
- First and second fix pipework
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Work on unvented systems
- Minor carpentry, tiling, and decorative tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing and multi-trade faults
- Deliver high-quality work to professional standards
- Support other trades in maintenance and repair activities
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
- Keep customers and office teams informed of progress
- Work efficiently to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, using PPE, risk assessments, and method statements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition
- Accurately record work completed using a PDA, including photographic evidence
- Participate in out-of-hours work and call-out rota as required
- Collaborate with colleagues and support wider operational needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and digital (PDA/phone)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well-organised with effective time management
- Problem-solving mindset with practical decision-making skills
- Commitment to completing tasks efficiently and thoroughly
- Awareness of health and safety best practices
- Proactive in personal development
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check and Security Clearance
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance
- Experience working within educational environments is desirable
