SLR Recruitment are collaborating with a local company who specialize in construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and facilities management across the South of England. We’re looking for a SHEQ Advisor to join their team and help them keep safety, quality, and compliance at the heart of everything they do.

SLR Recruitment are collaborating with a local company who specialize in construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and facilities management across the South of England. We’re looking for a SHEQ Advisor to join their team and help them keep safety, quality, and compliance at the heart of everything they do.
What you’ll do
- Support operational teams with SHEQ advice, training, inspections, and audits
- Coach managers, supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors on safe working practices
- Oversee training resources, toolbox talks, and competency assessments
- Carry out site inspections and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are in place
- Keep SHEQ systems up to date and aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
- Track and report SHEQ data, spotting risks and opportunities for improvement
- NEBOSH Construction (preferred) and either IEMA Environmental or NEBOSH Environmental
- Ability to deliver internal training (e.g. Asbestos, Manual Handling, RAMS, Incident Investigation)
- At least 5 years’ experience in SHEQ within construction and/or building maintenance
